UC Concourse Wall Decal

Earned first place in the 2024 Steal This Idea Interior/Wall Art designed by a student in the National ACUI graphics competition.

A wall decal design for the main wall in the University Center Concourse at UW-Whitewater. It was created to promote the various services provided in the UC, along with the many fun activities available for students in the UC.

While designing this decal I sought to bring more warm colors into the space after various wall had been painted purple. Meshing the university's color purple with the bright colors associated with all the events that take place in the UC.

With all the resources, programs, student organizations, and events held at the UC, I went through numerous designs and layouts to figure out the best way to highlight each one. I explored grid layouts and typographic layouts before deciding on this abstract collage.
